Several weeks ago we had the Marshalltown Fire Department come to our church to show the classes on Wednesday night the truck and equipment.
The kids really enjoyed the truck and all of the cool
stuff on the truck!
Three fire fighters came out with the captain's truck. The went all the way around the truck and showed the group all the equipment on the truck.
Here is the gauge panel that they use to run the water with the hoses.
All the kids that wanted to got to set up in the truck.
One of the firefighters even put on all of the gear that they wear when they go into a fire.
The evening was a fun break from our normal classes and the kids, hopefully, still learned something!
