At the beginning of August our neighbors and we had company on the same weekend. One night we were all congregated in our back yards. The neighbors have rhubarb plants growing in their garden. Our two daughters decided that they needed to taste it like the other kids were doing.
Here Jenna is showing us that she has a piece.
And in this one she is actually eating it!!! I was totally surprised that she actually chewed on it for quite a while. She didn't even make a face when she bit into it the first time. I know I used to pick it right out of the patch when I was a kid and eat it until I got a stomach ache. I think it's wonderful that I get to experience all of that kind of stuff again through our daughter's eyes!!!
I hope you enjoy today's post and also hope it brings back some good memories from your child hood.

I had the Great opportunity to photograph my daughter right in the Operating room. My Wife and I did not want to have her VIA a C-section However it had to be that way.
Right from the start she is Bright eyed and checking everything out. She is very alert while awake.
Her Color is starting to come in. You can see how her bottom half is still some what blue in this photo. The whole process really can be scary cleaning out her mouth getting her to breath and so forth it can really make you forget that women have been having babies for over 5,000 years.
Isn't she adorable but in the air and fussing. (Thats my Daughter)
I am really happy how well the new camera Olympus sent me handled these conditions. The Focus speed was great and it handled all the mixed lighting very well. All in all it is a great camera to work with in situations where you will never get a chance to retake the shot.
I would like to thank every one for their support and Prayers. I know that it is In God that everything turned out as well as it did.
My wife and I would like to give a very spacial thanks to Our Pastors Wife for being by my wife's side practically the entire time. Thank you so MUCH Joan for living your ministry.
Mom and Baby are doing very well. I would like to say life is getting back to normal but my life has never been normal so no reason to start now. Let the more fun begin.

Bella is growing up so fast it is hard to believe. At least she lets me take all kinda of photos to keep the memories.

Our Family is Expecting a new addition this year.
My wife had a ultra sound yesterday for our second pregnancy. It is amazing how much detail they have on the newer sonograms. We never got anything even close to this with our first child just over 2 years ago.
Hmm deep in thought. or maybe peek a boo I see you too!
So far every thing is looking good and we will find out the official results of the ultra sound in a couple of weeks when we go back to the Dr.
